Manufacturing Month

Manufacturing Month is a national event that promotes and celebrates careers in manufacturing to inspire the next generation. The Montgomery Chamber, along with City and County elected officials, team up with Montgomery Public Schools and local businesses to show students at Montgomery Preparatory Academy for Career Technologies (MPACT) that manufacturing careers are available, profitable and cool! This program presents students opportunities that exist in our area's manufacturing sector. Highlighted manufacturing tours at local existing industries are held throughout the month of October. At the beginning of the month, Montgomery Public Schools along with the Montgomery Chamber, City and County elected officials hold a kickoff event to get the students excited about their upcoming tours.
