Promote your brand, increase exposure and build personal connections with Montgomery's leading business sector. Since 1963, the Small Business Administration has taken the opportunity to highlight the impact of outstanding entrepreneurs, small business owners, and others from across the nation through National Small Business Week. Small Business drives our economy and accounts for 94% of the businesses in both the Montgomery county and metro areas as well as creates payroll for nearly half our citizens. Montgomery's Small Business Week is held in partnership with the national week and kicks-off with a formal Proclamation Signing media event followed by an after work networking event (Chamber Connect) for all Chamber members and continues with a week-long series of events that includes seminars, meet-ups, lectures, and workshops that inform, integrate, and celebrate Montgomery's small businesses. The week's events will take place daily throughout the week in a variety of venues across Montgomery's entrepreneurial ecosystem and culminate in a Start-upMGM competition that provides an intense business ideation experience and pitch competition.
