genYP is helping Urbandale area youth by igniting the passion to read. This program extends to the Urbandale School District from K-3rd Grade. This program is designed to connect the area young professionals with area youth to inspire reading aloud to children, the most important factor in determining a child's future success in reading. Young Professionals will bring books in purchased by the sponsoring business and donate them and classroom supplies to the classroom for all of the kids to enjoy for years to come.
